How to make a skinny mocha frappe recipe. This can be sugar free or dairy free. Or use regular sugar and milk if you want. It's easy to customize this recipe for your dietary needs.

Mocha frappes are my weakness. I was stopping to grab one about once a week. I wanted to cut calories and save money, so I started experimenting to make my own at home. I use my Ninja bullet blender to make this drink.

I like this recipe because I can substitute milk for a dairy free option. You can also stevia or coconut sugar in place of the sugar for a sugar free option.

This mocha frappe is perfect for summer. It's cooling and refreshing, and it helps me get over the afternoon slump.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or vanilla almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder or chocolate syrup
  • 2 tablespoons liquid stevia or coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (omit if using vanilla almond milk)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups ice
Instructions

Brew 1/2 cup strong coffee or use powdered coffee to make 1/2 cup.
Blend all ingredients in a blender.
Pour into a glass. Top with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle if desired.
