Cucumber Dill Sauce

I love me some Greek food! When I lived and worked in Salt Lake, there was a Greek place a block down the road that had the best kabobs with cucumber sauce. That sauce was so good! I know that was not the only place in town that made that cucumber dill sauce. Another favorite place to eat it was at Market Street Grill. It came with their cedar plank salmon. My kids love salmon and I was really craving this sauce to eat on my fish. I had to recreate it for myself since I no longer live in Utah. I came up with this simple recipe that is just as mouth watering as my Greek place or Market Street Grill. You can eat this on fish (which is what I made it for) Chicken, pork, or vegetables. I think I might even use it and mix it up and make up a chicken salad sandwich. Oh, my mouth is watering now!

You need just a couple pantry items to make this mouth watering sauce. I have pictured lemon juice but I actually used real squeezed lemon juice. You can use fresh dill or dried.

Peel and seed a cucumber and I used a fine grater and grated it into the rest of the mixture.

Mix all of the ingredients into a small bowl and season to taste with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Those are my go to ingredients I use in EVERYTHING I cook.

This tasted like I was eating the $40 Salmon at Market Street Grill. I don't think it is really $40 - we use to go for Early Bird pricing.

It's SO GOOD!
