I make these pretzel rods for any occasion, birthdays, Holidays and they make great gifts as well!

You will need melted chocolate, whole pretzel rods, sprinkles and wax paper.

I use this handy mini chocolate slow cooker. You can also melt the chocolate or candy melts in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds at a time stirring in between until it is fully melted and not lumpy.

You dip half the pretzel in the melted chocolate, let the excess drip off then gently place it on the wax paper. I did 3 at a time, then add sprinkles right away so the chocolate does not cool down completely. Repeat the process for as many chocolate covered pretzel rods are needed.

Let your imagination run wild with different types of sprinkles!

Crushed candy canes with chocolate are a bright and wonderfully minty addition!

I even used some white chocolate chips to do some quick lines back and forth on these ones...for the people who do not like sprinkles 😵

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how I create my chocolate covered pretzel rods 🍫 🥨

They even sell pretzel rod bags at Walmart, Michaels and Jo-Ann Fabrics, if you want make them as favors or gifts!
