Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh green beans
  • 1/2 cup diced sweet onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3 Tblsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 Tblsp bourbon
  • 3 Tblsp dried cranberries
  • 2 Tblsp sliced almonds
Instructions

Prepare green beans by steaming slightly, drain.
While green beans steam, place diced onion and garlic clove in skillet.
Sauté 3 – 5 minutes.
Add your drained green beans to skillet, stir to combine.
Add in syrup, salt, pepper and bourbon.
Stir to combine.
Remove from heat and toss with dried cranberries and sliced almonds.
