Aren’t flatbreads pretty much the best thing out there? They take no time to make, you can put a whole variety of things on top and it will always be delicious, and they’re super filling and light at the same time.

There are so many different ways to prepare them! One of my favourite ones is using coconut yoghurt and vegetable oil, but I often make them with regular yoghurt and melted butter. And if I don’t have yoghurt at all, I’ll just add water instead. All delicious!

Similarly, you can either make them on a non-stick pan or in the oven, depending on how much time you have and how crispy you want it to be. Recently I’ve started putting them in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes before placing the toppings on top – it ends up being super crispy and light.

Is there an American translation for the ingredients?

Hi, Erin! The author is using a metric weight measurement (grams) In baking, grams is considered more accurate than cups, etc. If you have a kitchen scale that can do either English or metric, change it to metric, zero out the scale with a bowl on it, and weigh ingredients. If it only does English, just google online metric-English conversion - there are dozens of them! Just enter the grams and it will give you ounces. There's really not a good conversion , for example, to cups, since one is a volume measurement and this is weight. Hope that helps!! :) ~Chrissie

Okay, I saw the picture and immediate started to salivate! I have basil plants going gangbusters so by the end of the summer, I usually freeze a ton of pesto to have fresh pesto all winter (SOOOOOO delicious - summer pesto in January!!!). I threw a naan on the grill and the chew of the naan with the fresh pesto and tomatoes? You don't even miss the melted mozzarella - it's just so fresh, summery, and you can eat an entire half a pizza without feeling like you overdid it, it's so light!!! Thank you so much for posting this fast, easy, and de-lish-us recipe idea!!! Even my daughter, who is dairy-free, loved it, minus the feta! Now THAT is an accomplishment! lol Cheers!
