Who wouldn't love a quick and easy meal? Or should I say... who wouldn't like a quick and easy yet tasty meal?? I'd be like, get in my tummy right away please!

Yes, you definitely can have this meal in less than thirty minutes. I used red and yellow bell peppers but it's up to you if you just want to do red or yellow or you can add orange as well! Works perfectly fine!

What makes it Indian style? I added garam masala which is a spice blend that's used widely in Indian cuisine. If I am not mistaken, garam means hot in Hindi so feel free to adjust the amount if you don't want that kick!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
  • 2 red/yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 1/2 lbs steak, cut into strips
  • 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions

In a small bowl. stir together garam masala, salt and garlic powder with 3 tablespoons of water. Set aside.
Heat one tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring for about one minute. Add the bell peppers and cook until it's it begins to soften yet still crisp. Set aside.
In the same skillet, heat the remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add the meat and ginger, cooking and stirring until meat is browned about 1 to 2 minutes. Add in the onion and pepper mixture and stir for about a minute. Add in the garam masala mixture and heat through, about 1 to 2 minutes. Garnish with cilantro and serve!
