I love a good meat ball recipe. This recipe was one my father made when I was growing up. At the time I though it was too spicy, but now I love it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of ground turkey
  • 1 cup of bead crumbs
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of chili pepper powder

In a large bowl combine the turkey meat, bread crumbs, chopped onions, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper and the key ingredient to making it spicy. !/4 teaspoon of Chili pepper powder.

Create small to medium size meatballs. Place them 1 inch apart on a a greased pan.

Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve with vegetables or your favorite salad.

I love serving these meatballs for parties as an appetizer. They go great with cut up vegetables such as carrots, cucumber or celery. Add some blue cheese dressing on the side.
