This YUMMY cocktail is OH SO creamy and tastes just like a peppermint patty! Except, of course, this cocktail does have alcohol. But here’s the real kicker! You don’t even have to go out and BUY the alcohol!!

Yes, you read that right! You can actually MAKE both the Kahula and the Peppermint Vodka right there in your own kitchen! It's super easy to do and instead of buying an entire bottle which of course can be quite expensive, you can make exactly how much you need and it will cost you way less! As for this cocktail? We usually serve it around the holidays because it is quite festive but you can actually sip this as an after-dinner drink all winter long!

  • 2 oz Peppermint Vodka **See Homemade Recipe in Blog Post
  • 2 oz Half and Half
  • 2 mini Candy canes crushed (or 1 large one)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe dish. Place in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Put the chips back in the microwave for 20 seconds more. If still not melted add 10 seconds more. Dip each martini glass rim into the melted chocolate. Allow excess to drip off before placing each rim into the crushed candy cane. Place glasses in the refrigerator. Meanwhile, Combine the Kahula, Peppermint Vodka, ice, and half and half in a cocktail shaker or mason jar. Shake until combined and frothy. Carefully pour the contents of the shaker or jar (without ice) into each martini glass. Serve with a mini candy cane for stirring.
