Anyone else agree that the holidays wouldn’t be complete without eggnog? When I think about holiday food and drinks, eggnog always comes to mind. I always find myself making eggnog pancakes, eggnog french toast, and more during the holiday season. As a child, my dad used to even add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to my eggnog. Our family loves ice cream, so this year I decided to make eggnog ice cream for the holidays! What could be better than ice cream with egg nog for the holidays?!? After a little bit of experimenting, I think we’ve come up with the perfect eggnog recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whipping Cream
  • 2 cups Eggnog
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla
Instructions

In a small mixing bowl, mix together cream and eggnog. Stir in sugar, salt, nutmeg, and vanilla. Whisk together.
Pour ingredients into ice cream maker. Turn on and let it mix until ice cream forms like soft serve ice cream.
Scoop ice cream into freezer container. Place in freezer for at least 2 hours (I usually leave overnight) for ice cream to set.
Enjoy!
