If you're trying to cut down on caffeine but still want that energy boost this is the perfect smoothie for that.

It is also just a great way to get in a ton of nutrients as it is packed with good for you starting off with spirulina! Spirulina is packed with Vitamins A, C, E, B and it has protein, iron, calcium, magnesium and zinc. It is really a SUPERFOOD! Although it is a special ingredient that you might not readily have in your pantry it is definitely worth purchasing and adding into your smoothies!

This smoothie is a beautiful green color because of the spirulina but I've also added spinach to up it's fiber content! I'm sure you'll love it!

Add all your ingredients to a high speed blender. Look at how vibrant the spriulina is!

Blend and add ice to reach your desired consistency. I like my smoothies on the thicker side so I tend to add more ice as I go.

Enjoy and add any toppings you may like - I opted for hemp seeds and dried coconut!
