Aladdin's Magic Carpet Snacks

These Aladdin’s Magic Carpet Snacks are a fun treat for the whole family. Inspired by the new Aladdin movie coming out this summer, these magic carpets are made from graham crackers, fruit roll ups, cream cheese and fresh fruit. Bring your kids in the kitchen with you to make these magic carpet treats and get them excited about cooking.

  • Graham crackers
  • Cream cheese
  • Purple food coloring
  • Fruit roll up
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries

You can use cream cheese or frosting. Either will work so you can use which ever one you prefer.

Mix purple food coloring with the cream cheese or frosting and spread it on the graham cracker.

Cut the fruit roll up into a fringe pieces and press it into the corners of the cracker.

Wash the fruit and blot with a paper towel to dry. Slice strawberries and press them onto each side of the cracker.

Add a raspberry in the middle.

Slice blueberries in half and place around the raspberry. Feel free to mix up the fruit to your favorite varieties.

These snacks are perfect for after school and your kids will love to help you make them. Why not serve them on your next movie night while you watch Aladdin or another one of your favorite Disney movies?

  • Graham Crackers
  • Cream cheese or frosting

Instructions
Aladdin's Magic Carpet Snacks
If using cream cheese, soften at room temperature or in the microwave. Add in a few drops of purple food coloring, and beat until smooth. Do the same if using frosting.
Cover as many graham crackers as you’d like with a thick layer of cream cheese or frosting, keeping it as smooth as possible.
Slice several different fruits, and blot off excess juice with a paper towel. Press them into the cream cheese to make a pattern on the "carpet"
Cut the fruit roll up into a fringe and press it into each corner of the cracker
Arrange in the graham crackers in different patterns to represent Aladdin’s magic carpet. Enjoy immediately!
Tips
  • Feel free to mix up the fruits and let the kids have fun decorating their magic carpet the way they want to.
