Easy Greek Yogurt Parfaits

Greek yogurt is an amazing thing. It's like regular American yogurt, but thicker, more tart, and much more protein packed. I often eat greek yogurt with fresh fruit if I am dragging in the afternoon, and that protein boost really helps my energy level.

I also added walnuts to this parfait not only for the extra protein, but for the wonderful crunch and nutty flavor they give. The fat in the walnuts makes this snack or breakfast so much more satiating.

The fruit really makes this parfait. I added fresh raspberries, peaches, and strawberries for the sweetness, vitamins and minerals. Fresh strawberries, peaches, and raspberries in the summer are such a treat.

To round out the flavors, I added a little bit of honey and cinnamon to the plain greek yogurt and stirred well before adding to my parfait glass. This really makes the parfait taste amazing, while still keeping the sugar content low.

Give this recipe a try! It's an amazing nutrient-packed breakfast or afternoon snack. Please leave a comment below telling us how you liked it. If you're interested in daily recipe ideas that bring joy, follow my Instagram account below.
