Learn how to make cold brew coffee in a mason jar at home. This is very easy to do and doesn't take any special equipment.

Cold brew coffee isn't as acidic as hot brew coffee. It's also stronger. If you like to make iced coffee drinks or iced lattes, cold brew tastes better since it isn't bitter.

I use a mason jar to make my cold brew. I had a pitcher, but it broke. Mason jars are more durable.

I pour my cold brew through cheesecloth to strain out the coffee grounds. You can also buy a filter and 2 quart mason jar to make your cold brew in.

Cold brew takes 24 hours to brew, so you will need to plan ahead. I have several recipes to use it in on my how to make cold brew with ground coffee post if you need some ideas.

I'm confused. I read your post as well as your blog w/the directions ... the ratio used is 3 c. water to 1 c. coffee. In another place, it said the ratio is 4 to 1, meaning 4 c. water to 1 c. coffee. So help me out, which is it?!
