Spicy Hoisin Pork Tacos

Spice up your boring taco game with these sweet & spicy pork taco recipe!! This is a recipe I make all of my friends try, because it is super simple and so yummy.

I promise these tacos will be a hit at your next dinner party or taco Tuesday night with the family!

You can top your pork tacos with just about anything, veggie wise, but the toppings you can't leave out are the sriracha mayo and radish!


I also like to put on some sliced mini cucumbers, tomato, jalapeños and monetery jack cheese.

This is a recipe that will have your guests thinking you're a master chef, trust me!

Ingredients
Sriracha Mayo
  • 4 tbsp of mayo
  • 2-4 tsp of sriracha (depending on your spice tolerance)
  • pinch of salt & pepper
Toppings
  • 50g of sliced radish
  • 50g of sliced cucumber
  • 50g of sliced jalapeños
  • 50g of cubed tomatoes
  • 50g of shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 3 tbsp of chopped green onion
  • Mini tortillas
Meat filling
  • 300g of ground pork
  • 1 tbsp of fresh ginger (grated)
  • 2 tsp of fresh garlic (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of sesame oil
  • 1 tsp of ground cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
For the meat
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat, when hot add in the sesame oil, then ginger and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Then to the pan, add in your ground pork.
Cook, breaking up the meat into small pieces until there is no pink in the meat.
Once cooked, stir in the hoisin & soy sauce, cumin and salt & pepper.
Lower the heat and stir until completely combined.
Toppings
Make sure you completely wash all of your veggies.
Chop up and set aside all your toppings.
Do this step while you meat is cooking to save time!
Sriracha Mayo
Combine mayo, Sriracha and salt & pepper until combined.
Add more sriracha if you want it a little spicier.
Plating the tacos
Warm up your tacos in the microwave if you wish, then divide the monetey jack cheese on the bottom.
Evenly divide the ground pork mixture over all of the cheesy tortillas.
Then top with all of your veggies & sriracha mayo.
