These mango strawberry popsicles make a healthy treat for the summer. Both kids and adults will love these healthy frozen treats, and no one will be any the wiser that they are made without any added sugar. With just three ingredients, these yogurt and fruit popsicles are easy to make, and they last up to three months in the freezer for a fun treat all summer long.

What Can I Use For a Popsicle Mold?


I recommend using a silicone popsicle mold to make fruit popsicles. Popsicles can be hard to remove from hard plastic, but you can use them.


If you don’t have silicone popsicle molds, then you can also use one of the following:


  • Mini muffin tins are the perfect size to make yogurt and fruit popsicles for toddlers and younger kids.
  • Use small disposable cups to make mango strawberry yogurt popsicles. If you use a paper cup, you can simply peel it away from the frozen treats.
  • Pour these homemade yogurt and fruit popsicles in a loaf pan. Place popsicle sticks inside evenly spaced. When it’s set up, slice into servings.
  • Similar to a mini muffin tin, use ice cube trays to make smaller sugar free popsicles.
  • Save yogurt containers to reuse to make homemade yogurt and fruit popsicles.
  • If you use one of these, you’ll need food grade popsicle sticks. You can also use plastic spoons as a popsicle handle. This works well for younger children.

Mango Strawberry Fruit Popsicles: Healthy Frozen Treats for Summer

Ingredients


  • 1 ½ cup strawberries
  • 1 ½ cup mango, cubed
  • ½ cup plain unsweetened plant based coconut yogurt

Instructions


Place strawberries and ¼ cup of coconut yogurt in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a small bowl.
Add mangoes and ¼ cup of coconut yogurt to a blender. Blend until smooth.
Place a few spoons of strawberry yogurt in one side of the popsicle mold. Then fill the remainder of the mold with the mango cream. Repeat for all six mango strawberry popsicles.
Then insert the popsicle sticks into the molds.
Freeze the yogurt and fruit popsicles for four hours, or until completely frozen. Then enjoy.

Tips

  • You can use either fresh or frozen fruit for this recipe. If using fresh fruit, remove the leaves from the strawberries. Then cut the mango to remove the flesh from the fruit and the stone from the center before making.
  • The instructions call for using a blender. However, you can use an immersion blender and bowl as well.
