We were having our extended family over for a picnic/BBQ and I was planning the drinks and dinner menu.  I wanted to have some sort of iced tea as a beverage choice.Many in our family our sensitive to caffeine, so I wanted to be sure to make a decaf iced tea to serve.  I only had decaf herbal honey vanilla chamomile tea bags on hand, so I made that.I also had some lemonade, mixed the two together, and came up with seriously the BEST Recipe for Iced Tea I’ve Ever Had! 
Honey Vanilla Chamomile Lemonade Iced Tea Recipe

Ingredients for the Perfect Iced Tea Recipe:


  • 5 Celestial Seasonings Honey Vanilla Chamomile tea bags
  • About 10 cups water
  • Half gallon of lemonade (I used Wegmans Organic Lemonade)


Instructions for the BEST Iced Tea Recipe:


  1. Place 10 cups of water in a sauce pan.
  2. Add the 5 tea bags and steep on medium heat for about 10 minutes
  3. Pour into a large pitcher
  4. Add half gallon of lemonade and stir
  5. Chill very well before serving over ice (or the ice melts too quickly)!

This perfect iced tea recipe seriously just has the best flavor.  You just have to try this and come back and tell me what you think.  Refreshing and YUM!

Plus this makes the Lemonade half the calories, and cuts the cost of your summer beverages by adding tea to your lemonade!

    Sounds great. A new play on a classic Arnold Palmer, which is based on black tea (iced) and lemonade.

      Neat. I’ll have to try that! Vanilla Camomile. We used to feed camomile tea to our canaries when they were under the weather!

    This recipe sounds refreshing. I discovered a twist on this. Use your favorite lemonade or tea then add Chamomile syrup and Lavender syrup. Start out with a cap full of each until you reach your desired flavor. I got the syrup on Amazon.

    You can add a variety of flavors even some blueberry syrup.
