Ingredients

  • Beef chuck roast, cut into cubes
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 large garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 bottle of Guinness Dark Beer
  • 4 carrots, peeled and cut
  • 1 pound small white potatoes, quartered
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon liquid aminos
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions

Add the cubed beef to an oiled pot. Once browned, remove from pot.
Add in diced onions and cook until translucent.
Once the onions are cooked, stir in the flour and pour in the beer.
Let this mixture bubble until it's thickened.
Stir in the broth, liquid aminos, dried thyme, and salt/pepper.
Add in the veggies and beef.
Let simmer on medium for 1 hour or until the beef is tender.
