I found this recipe in the Wegmans Winter 2016 Menu Magazine and just had to try it? It only has 5 ingredients and is a winner in my book:

5 Ingredient Thai Peanut Lo Mein Salad! This is super duper easy, frugal, tastes awesome, and works as a main dish or a side dish. It makes enough so it would also be a fun and tasty salad to bring to a pot luck!

Ingredients Needed (I did buy all Wegmans brand products, but you can substitute in others if you don’t have a Wegmans in your area):1. Frozen Lo Mein Noodles, 21.5 oz (use all 3 pre-packaged noodle packs)2. Frozen Mukimame Shelled Soybeans, 12 oz3. Shredded & Sliced Asain Slaw, 1 package of 12 oz4. 2 tablespoons of Roasted Sesame Seeds5. Thai Peanut Sauce – I used a full bottle 13 oz.

This recipe is super easy and takes about 10 minutes to make.
  1. Heat up the defrost the Lo Mein noodles per the directions on the package (cook in boiling water for just one minute!).
  2. Rinse off the noodles in cold water.
  3. Stir in slaw, soybeans, sesame seeds, and thai peanut sauce.
  4. Toss and chill. Serve cold.
  5. Serves 8-12 depending on if this is a side dish or main dish.
