Who fancies a nutrient-dense snack that will not only satisfy your sweet tooth but also let you indulge in its deliciousness?!

Almonds coated in chilli honey glaze - the snack to go for this winter season (or any other time really - this recipe is GREAT!). Perfect for a movie night, sweet craving moment or zoom parties!

I added some chia seeds for an extra crunch, however, this step is totally optional! You can use any type of nuts you like to make it suitable and most enjoyable for you! I used almonds as I had some spare and I just love how crunchy they are! Hope you'll enjoy the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 100g almonds
  • 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • 3/4 tsp chilli flakes
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180C.
Coat your almonds in honey and chilli flakes (and chia seeds if you want an extra crunch).
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Cool down and enjoy!!

    Added walnuts and more honey plus sesame seeds. Baked at 350 for 8 minutes. Easy and healthy! Thanks for posting!
