Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

6 Servings
25 Minutes

Well, I think I’ve been watching too much, because as I was taking this photo of the Peppermint White Hot Chocolate, I thought ‘oh dang, that looks classy!’ And then Jim’s voice entered my head asking ‘but is it classy enough?’. I guess office quotes are officially part of my thought process. 😆

Anyways, I digress. This Peppermint White Hot Chocolate is SUPER easy. The recipe took me all of five minutes to type up, because all you have to do enjoy this ‘classy’ drink is put all the ingredients in a pot on your stovetop and stir until heated up! It’s made by melting actual peppermint candies (the soft kind that are easily dissolve-able!), and that’s what gives it that fun pink color. If you’re not sure what soft peppermints are, they’re also referred to as ‘peppermint puffs’ at stores, and can be found in the candy aisle at most stores.

This would be the perfect addition to those upcoming Holiday parties, I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

  • Prep time: 5 Minutes|Cook time: 20 Minutes|Total time: 25 Minutes

Combine all of the ingredients in a large pot on low, stirring constantly, until heated to your preferred temperature and the mints and chocolate chips are melted. Fills about 6 regular-size mugs. Enjoy!

  • *It is important that you don't substitute the soft peppermint puffs with hard pepepermints or candy canes- the peppermint puffs dissolve much quicker
