If you're in the mood for a quick and easy treat that requires minimal effort, this is the perfect recipe for you! I’ve been looking/trying to create more effortless and quick recipes as I’ve become a lot busier than I was a few months ago! Are you all interested in more quick & easy recipes? I still love to be cooking/baking in the kitchen, but working full time along with completing post-graduate studies leaves me with little time to make longer recipes. So let me know in the comments down below if you are interested in these types of shorter recipes that I can definitely do more of!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp + 1/2 tbsp of butter or vegan butter
  • 2 cups marshmallows (or vegan marshmallows*)
  • 3 cups of your favourite cereal or granola
Instructions

Place a sheet of parchment paper on top of an 8 inch by 8-inch pan.
On low heat, melt the butter or vegan butter in a large saucepan until it becomes a liquid. Stir in all the marshmallows until they have completely melted. This step may take longer if you are using vegan marshmallows. If you do use vegan marshmallows, you can add about 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil or more to speed up the process. Once completely melted, remove from heat.
Stir in all of the cereal or granola into the mixture until everything is well mixed.
Pour the entire mixture into your prepared pan and press evenly.
Let the mixture completely cool before cutting. You can refrigerate them for a few minutes to speed up the process.
Tips
  • If using vegan marshmallows, you may need a bit of coconut oil to help melt your marshmallows faster.

Maybe add some chopped nuts or chocolate chips?
