This creamy hot cocoa with almond protein powder is so delicious and is the perfect beverage for the cooler months. Kids and adults alike will love sipping on this creamy cocoa.

I have fond memories of drinking hot cocoa with my kids. I’ll never forget looking at my firstborn son while he slept one winter many years ago when he was just a babe. I wanted to share my love of hot cocoa with him at that very moment. I just couldn’t wait till he was old enough to enjoy this special drink. Sounds idealistic now to write it out, but that really happened. LOL!

Question: Could the first two steps be completed and then refrigerated? Then I would add it to the warm milk when serving.

Hi, Sharon! I've never done it that way, but I don't see why not! Please let me know how it turns out ♥️

Will this work with other protein powders that aren't almond?

If I tried it and was using chocolate protein powder I would definitely cut back on the cocoa. I don’t see why vanilla wouldn’t work it should taste like milk chocolate .
