Ingredients
For the chocolate goblins
  • 1 bag milk chocolate Flipz pretzel snacks
  • container of candy eyes
  • 12 oz. package of milk chocolate chips
For the white ghosts
  • 1 bag white fudge Flipz pretzel snacks
  • container of candy eyes
  • 12 oz. package almond bark or white chocolate chips
Instructions

Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil and arrange the pretzels on it.
Melt the milk chocolate chips in a double boiler. If you don’t have a double boiler, set a dish on top of a pot of simmering (not boiling) water, so the dish fits snugly. The steam from the water will melt the chocolate to a wonderfully smooth consistency. I have tried melting chocolate in the microwave many times, but I mess it up every time. It always gets too hard. Using a double boiler is my preferred way by far!
Using a knife, spread enough melted chocolate in each of the two upper holes to fill them.
Then add a sugar eye to each dab of melted chocolate.
And that's it! Simply let the chocolate set up and they are ready to eat!
For the white ghost
The directions are exactly the same, except you melt the white chocolate or almond bark instead of milk chocolate.
Add the white chocolate to the 2 upper holes and then attach an eye to each spot of melted chocolate.
Tips
  • If you want to get creative, you can add slivered almonds to create a beak for an owl, too! You can see pictures of that in the link to my post.
