On the days when I’m craving something healthy for breakfast, this Raspberry Banana Smoothie Bowl is a staple. It’s light, refreshing and the dark chocolate shavings kinda make me feel like I’m eating dessert (‘cause y’all know that I not-so-secretly like cake for breakfast). Why am I eating my smoothie out of a bowl instead of drinking it like a normal person, you may ask? Well folks, welcome to the screwed-up inner workings of Jennifer’s mind. Basically, my brain doesn’t believe I’ve eaten unless I’m chewing, therefore even if I were to blend an entire party pizza and down it, I’d still think I’m hungry. Yeah. I know - crazy . Anyhow, the recipe is also ridiculously easy to make while still looking pretty, so if you’re trying to wow guests without any real effort then this Raspberry Banana Smoothie Bowl is the way to go. I have to agree with you on the chewing issue. Drinking calories is a waste of precious calories.

    Question... What is hemp hearts?

    • Faye Faye on Oct 29, 2023

Derived from the Cannabis Sativa plant, hemp hearts are simply the soft inner part of hemp seeds once they have been unshelled – their squishy centre, if you will. Despite sharing the same plant mother, hemp hearts don't contain CBD or THC, therefore will not make you feel high, just in case you were worried.
