This recipe is for all of my donut lovers!!


A moist chocolate donut, topped with a chocolate glaze and caramel drizzle. What more could you as for!!


When I originally created this recipe it was for a collaboration with a collagen peptides brand (Vital Proteins). But do not worry if you don't have this caramel collagen peptides product, it can easily be substituted with coconut sugar, or just skipped completely.

Ingredients
Donut Dough
  • 1/2 cup of oat flour
  • 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 scoops (equal to 2 tbsp) of the Vital Proteins Cocoa Caramel Collagen (can skip this ingredient if you do not have it)
Chocolate Glaze
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (main glaze)
  • 1/4 cup of white chocolate & 1 scoop of the caramel collagen (can use coconut sugar instead)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Combine all ingredients for the dough in a large bowl.
Once fully mixed, pour into a greased donut pan.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the donuts cool completely before decorating with the glaze!
