Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

I was inspired to make garlic mashed potatoes like this because I would often order them while at a restaurant. Since we haven't been able to visit any recently however, I needed to find a way to have them at home. The secret ingredient that really takes these potatoes to the next level is definitely the cream cheese. Try it and see just how these potatoes disappear off your plate!

Serve these mashed potatoes as a side to your favorite meat and veggie dishes for a superb addition to any meal! Or you can be like me, and eat them with a pulled pork sandwich, because why not?

If you are looking for the creamiest, most delicious garlic mashed potatoes, then you have found them! These are the best mashed potatoes you will ever make, and they are so incredibly simple! I make them quite often, and they are always gobbled up.

I used red skinned potatoes in this recipe because they are one of the best kinds for mashing. If you choose to use a different type of potato then I would recommend peeling them, but red skinned potatoes are delicious when mashed with their skins on.
