This is such a simple recipe that requires minimal prep. It is bursting with peanut butter and chocolate flavors, and is cool and refreshing on a hot summer day!


This best part is it only 70cal, 7g of carbs and 3.5g of fat, and has 2.7g of protein per serving making it a much healthier summer treat option!

Mix together the Greek yogurt, peanut butter and honey or maple syrup in a large bowl.

Spread the Greek yogurt mixture evenly onto the parchment paper.

Drop dollops of melted chocolate over the Greek yogurt mixture.

Swirl the melted chocolate into the Greek yogurt mixture. The chocolate mixed with the peanut butter yogurt creates the perfect peanut butter chocolate flavor!

Feel free to add additional toppings such as sliced banana, chopped nuts or even crushed graham crackers/vanilla wafers.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Option toppings:
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. Chopped nuts
Instructions

Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
In a large bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and honey or maple syrup.
Spread Greek yogurt mixture evenly onto the parchment paper.
Heat chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments until chocolate is melted.
Using a spoon, add dollops of melted chocolate to the Greek yogurt mixture. Use a toothpick to swirl the chocolate into the yogurt mixture.
Add optional toppings if using
Freeze bark for a minimum of 4 hours and then cut into 12 even pieces and serve!
Store in a ziplock bag in the freezer for up to 3 months.
