Sweet Bread

This bread is amazing! Next time I am going to make it into dinner rolls. Make sure your butter is softened. Add the milk, egg, salt and yeast into a bowl, I then added about a teaspoon of sugar to help the yeast do its thing. I let that sit for about five minutes to get that yeast nice and bubbly. Then sift in the flour and mix well keep mixing the dough and then add in the softened butter and incorporate that well. Knead the bread by hand or with your stand mixer fitted with a dough hook for about 5 minutes or until it is smooth and starts to pull away from the bowl. Add in more flour if it gets too sticky.

Place the dough in a oiled bowl and let rise. Punch it down and place in bread loaf pans. I slice mine and add in just to make it look pretty. Let rise in a warm area for about 45 minutes. After they have doubled in size brush with an egg wash and bake in the oven. Immediately after coming out pour over the butter mixture and then take out of the pans to cool.

It is so good.

Getting the yeast mixture ready.

Addin in the flour.

The glaze mixture.

Getting ready for second rise.

After pouring over the butter glaze.

They look so pretty too.
